Role Overview 

The Director of Client Results is responsible for the success of Actable’s client portfolio. This role owns the full spectrum of client engagement—driving high-quality delivery, customer value realization, and account expansion—while also ensuring internal coordination across Actable’s internal teams – martech platforms, data science, data engineering, and analytics teams. 

Ideal candidates bring deep experience in customer analytics, with a fluency in foundational and advanced use cases such as identity resolution, audience segmentation, experience orchestration, measurement frameworks, predictive analytics, and next-best action (NBA) design. This is not a passive stewardship role—it’s a leadership position for someone who can actively build and advance a hybrid services + technology model in a growth-stage environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Engagement & Delivery Leadership 

  • Lead delivery across a portfolio of clients executing against core customer analytics use cases: identity stitching, data engineering, customer segmentation, journey orchestration, marketing attribution, CDP enablement, and machine learning applications. 

 

  • Ensure engagements are scoped and executed to reflect measurable impact—on time, on budget, and in alignment with customer strategy. 

 

  • Serve as the escalation point for delivery excellence, risk management, and internal cross-functional coordination. 

Client Results Strategy & Measurement 

  • Define and implement a scalable customer success framework grounded in data product maturity, value realization milestones, and stakeholder health scoring. 

 

  • Track, analyze, and report on customer outcomes, identifying both risks and growth opportunities at the intersection of platform, data, and experience. 

 

  • Institutionalize best practices, implementation patterns, and reusable IP across identity, experience, measurement, and data science use cases. 

Commercial Partnership 

  • Collaborate with leadership to qualify, scope, and close strategic opportunities with an understanding of customer data architecture and long-term strategy.
     
  • Drive account planning, stakeholder alignment, and expansion roadmapping in concert with executive sponsors.
     
  • Help create go-to-market messaging and implementation packaging for key data use cases and hybrid service offerings. 

Operational Alignment 

  • Act as the operational “glue” across Actable’s internal teams – martech platforms, data engineering, analytics, and data science—ensuring that scope, expectations, and responsibilities are aligned.
     
  • Own internal governance for client programs: cadence, escalation protocols, change management, and resource coordination.
     
  • Mentor and scale a high-performing Client Results team with both technical fluency and stakeholder management savvy. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 7-10 years of experience in customer success, engagement delivery, or technical account management—within a data-driven, marketing technology, or cloud services environment.
     
  • Strong command of customer analytics and data use cases: identity resolution, behavioral segmentation, CDPs, cross-channel measurement, journey orchestration, and predictive analytics.
     
  • Proven leadership across engagements that span platform integration (e.g. cloud data warehouse + CDP + decision engine) and strategic enablement.
     
  • Deep familiarity with cloud-native data architectures (Google Cloud, Snowflake, etc.), common martech platforms (e.g., CDPs, ESPs, CEPs), and ML-powered use cases.
     
  • Demonstrated experience managing executive client relationships and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
     
  • Clear, confident communicator across technical and commercial audiences, both internally and externally. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in a consulting or hybrid services/technology firm, particularly one focused on customer data, customer analytics, AI/ML applications, or digital transformation. 

 

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing project management processes and tools within a fast-paced, client-facing service delivery or consulting environment.
     
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management metrics (e.g., NPS, CSAT, NRR, time-to-value) and how to drive them through delivery and enablement.
     
  • A track record of building customer success organizations, preferably in fast-growth or entrepreneurial environments.
     
  • Experience contributing to product/solution strategy for data-driven services offerings.

What do I need to do to be ready for my first day?

Actable has an Employee Experience Manager who will coordinate your new hire and onboarding process. Until your first day though, please take a minute to rest and recharge.
